No you would have to be assessed all over again using Alberta's  disability criteria

in one word?? NO...my cousin did that last year and after 3 months had to come back to ontario...ODSP told her it would work but when she got there she has to apply for OW ...they in turn told her to go back to ontario...she then had to reapply for odsp and had to sit on OW for a few months ,I think 3 or 4 until ODSP reinstated her as she had been out of province for 3 months

My concern for you would be whether you would even be able to afford
to live there. Many working people can't. The lack of rent controls
have greatly affected the working poor, senior's and the unemployed
and disabled. Calgary has hostels for those who are working but can't
get accommodations. The overflow is now affecting housing in Sask.

I believe it is alot harder to get onto disability in Alberta. My
friends father was completely ill with Crones disease, a failed
surgery, brain damage from the episode, and they still sent him to
doctors regularly to see if they could find a way to disqualify him.
they couldn't though, he was 100% "unemployable."
I beleive that that is the standard in Alberta, you must be
unemployable. Here, you just need to have sufficient limitations.
