ODSP Payroll Deposit

Hi there,

Does anyone else's ODSP direct deposit show up as "ODSP Payroll
deposit" on their bank account online?

I won't complain but I want to be sure it is coming out of the right
ODSP account. I am not on their payroll.

Anyone?

Mine says ODSP EFT. That stands for Electronic Fund Transfer or
something like that. This is President's Choice account. Maybe it is
your bank that changed it. If you don't like it, make a complaint to
the manager.

Mine doesn't show up like that at all....just says this - "ONT-
O.D.S.P. MSP"

Maybe call your bank and ask them why they show it as "ODSP Payroll
deposit".

No, I won't complain. As long as the money's there....well we're

Mine says Misc. Payment ONT-ODSP.

However I would write to the bank, keep a copy, send a copy to your
ODSP office, and tell them that you are not an ODSP employee but that
this is a Disability Benefit payment. ODSP can look at your bank
accounts and I would not put it past them that another caseworkers ask
why you did not declare this 'income'. Then with the letter you have
proof you brought it to their attention.
