2018 ODPC Men's Softball Team

Hello men of ODPC,

Registration for the ODPC Men's Softball team is now open for the FAS Softball Summer League and the KACF Church Tournament this year. The FAS league entails weekly doubleheaders with each game lasting approximately one hour and we are requesting to play on Sunday late afternoons/evenings at Braddock Park and Poplar Tree Park.  League games will start on the week of July 8th and will run for 7 weeks.  Currently, we plan to field one team for the league which will be capped at 30 players. However, if we have more interest than 30 players, we will consider registering two teams in the league so please continue to sign up even if the list reaches 30 players.  The KACF Tournament has been set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 11th and we plan to field two teams in the tournament,.  Anyone is welcome to join the team as long as they are a regular attendee of ODPC or have the intention to attend ODPC.  Our main goal for the team is to promote fellowship amongst our ODPC brothers and getting to know each other outside of church.  Sportsmanship will be expected and we will be representing ODPC, so please honorably respect fellow teammates and opposing teams while giving all glory to our God. The coaches serving this season will be Roger Kang, Kwangsoo Ok, Brad Son, Peter Kim and myself (Gene/Rook Chae).    

Final deadline for registration is Thursday, 05/31/2018 and then we will start scheduling practices in June.   We ask that you are able to participate in at least 50% of the season or (4 weeks) if you sign up for the league.  If you are just interested in participating in the tournament, please sign up below the dark grey line (below line 41).
