Hey Brian, I'm getting some unusual behavior...or non-behavior.

It launches ok, and the screen functions normally, but all of the gate inputs are glowing red and no audio or control signals pass out of the outputs.   There appears to be some low level voltage noise, but that's it.

I did notice that the micro card on the rear of the unit had popped out when I was moving it from one case to another.    The unit wasn't loading while that was the case.   I pressed it back in, and now I have the situation I've described.

I tried reloading the firmware, but that didn't change anything.

Anything else I can attempt, or did I jostle something loose???

Thanks,

-Bryan

Immediately turn off your case because it sounds to me like you have voltage on your power bus ground rail.  Check the ribbon cables of all modules because a misaligned ribbon cable anywhere could short the ground rail with another rail.

I would like to point out that Brian has been super diligent in helping me get to the bottom of this.   I don't know how he does it.   Designs and builds these amazing modules, yet still has time to offer superlative customer service.    Kudos.

Solved I hope!

I once accidentally over-tightened a bus board screw,  and in turn it touched  -12 tracing underneath,  trickled it to the chassis, which in turn energized my entire system's rack rails and caused sparks when I'd mount a module.  It was a nightmare tracing that down to one screw on a 72U wall!!

Yikes...a power trace underneath a screw.  I hope you let the manufacturer know!
