UNIT Idea - Simple Logic

a Simple Logic Unit with 2 input sources that responds to lo/hi gate signals .. and a mode selector (like the limiter type select) for traditional Logic (AND, OR, XOR etc) .. with the unit outputing either low or hi gate based on the appropriate truth table. 

a CV mod source for the Logic gate type would be rad.

Definitely.  Since all signals are internally process at audio rates with full resolution anyways, I might as well provide a continuous analog of these binary functions, for example replacing all of the discontinuities with sigmoid functions and exposing the "width" of the transition region as a modulatable parameter.

Another cool idea would be to add "analog" logic functions in addition to the binary boolean logic. Ideas would be OR (the max or two or more inputs), AND (the min of two or more inputs), and half/full-wave rectification. I do like the idea of using sigmoid functions to remove the boolean discontinuities. At that point, you may as well have "sum" and "diff" modes to turn it into a funky multi-mode mixer with logic capabilities.

BTW, I just joined the community after getting an ER-301 a week or two ago. I absolutely love this module and am excited to be here.
