Wanted to share my first proper ER301 patch that is a stab at using the ER301 as a 'sound computer' and seeing what it could do.

Anyway I always wanted a E340 Cloud Generator oscillator but never got round to buying one so decided to see if I could emulate it in the ER301. I think I got pretty close with adding both the "spread" & "chaos" parameters.

Quick tally is I'm using approx 50 units (lots of units with units) to get the spread & chaos - the CPU load is about 38% which goes up when I add a fixed delay for spatialising it in stereo.

Will try and note down how I did it with a diagram tomorrow if I get chance.

Some things to add to the chain that I need to figure out how to do in particular how to sync all the sample players but should be very easy just haven't got to it yet.

The ER301 is next league - what i really liked when putting this chain together was just how modular it was! & actually very easy switching my modular brain on. This is its massive strength!!

One thing I found when putting this patch together was the real need to have a copy and paste function. Ideally I could have set a single top level mixer and then copied it 4 more times and gone and tweaked the 'speed' gain values within each 'Sample Player'. I'm sure this will come at some stage.

also noticing all your pans are centered..  this patch would probably sound massive if you stagger the pans across the stereo field!
