Hi

I'm trying to record sequence in real time with record input on 102
that comes out from Ableton Live using expert sleepers ES-8.
Recording is fine but all the notes voltage values are showing 4 semitone lower on ER-101.
If I record C, it is marked as G.50 on ER-101. audio is fine just the marked voltage indexes on ER-101 is shown 4 semitone lower.
Is there way to edit this globally? or will I have to edit all the indexed voltage tables correspondingly?
Thank you

Regards,

Jun

Hi Jun

You should be able to adjust the output of the ES-8 up 4 semitones in the Silent Way plugin? Have you tried using the Detune-->Transpose or Override-->Pitch controls?

Even adjusting the voltage tables will not fix the transposed note display issue that you are having because the mapping between voltage and displayed note is fixed (C0 is 0V, C1 is 1V and so on).  I can put such a configuration option on the TODO list (it would be CONFIG.INI based) but it will be at least a month before I can get to it.

Either way, please let me know if you were able to fix the display issue from within Silent Way.

Hi Brian,

yeah, i tried the transpose on detune section on voice controller. with 4 semitone up, recording C midi note is shown as C.00 on ER-101
however, actual audio pitch from my DPO is now E so the key is not matched with other tracks on ableton. Pitch calibration with silent way and DPO is done previously.
so I guess I will need to wait for you having time for TODO list

Jun
