This might be of interest to these mailing lists. We have hosted a number of these fellows over the last two years. They are a great way to get started in the civic tech world. Hello everybody, 

As some of you might know, we opened yesterday the application process for the 2016 Fellowship. The application deadline is set on March 10. You can see the launch announcement here. 

Similarly to last year, we're looking for data literacy enthusiasts who would spend 9 months, from April to December, working alongside School of Data to push data literacy forward. The selected fellows will work 10 days a month, and will receive a monthly stipend of $1000 USD. The details of the programme are available here.

Unlike last year, we're openly looking for fellows who have a thematic focus. In line with this new direction, 5 fellowship slots will be reserved for applicants in data journalism, extractives data and responsible data. You can read more about this policy here.

We need now to make sure that this opportunity witll reach the ears of as many potential applicants as possible. So please help us spread the word on social media and within your networks!
