We are currently preparing for the closed testing release of the OD2 Temp Mail Android application on the Google Play Store. At this stage, we are finalizing the build, app listing, and testing setup.

The closed testing program will officially begin once we reach 50 subscribed testers. This will help us run meaningful tests, gather feedback, and meet Google Play’s release requirements.

We will notify you as soon as the testing phase starts, along with clear instructions on how to install the app and share your feedback.

We’re excited to share that we’re very close to reaching our goal of 50 subscribers

We’re targeting 20th January to release the app for all public testers who are part of this group. To help us get there faster, we kindly ask you to refer friends or fellow developers who share the same interest in contributing and learning.

How Testing Works (14-Day Streak)

• Install the app using the same Google account you joined the Google Group with

• Keep the app installed for a minimum of 16 days

• Each day, check temp mail using this format:
  👉 Example: 1401...@tm.od2.in (14 Jan 2026)
  👉 Next day: 1501...@tm.od2.in

• You’ll receive an email stating Sub of 'Public User Checkin <Date>" → open it → click the Form link → confirm your Checkin

• Do this daily to maintain the 16-day streak

Appreciation

Once testing is completed and verified, we’ll provide a token of appreciation (cash/gift card/coupons/goodies, if possible).

OD2 Temp Mail – Notes for Testing Members(Public Testers)

Thank you for being part of the OD2 Temp Mail Early Access testing program. This release focuses on fixes, stability, and performance improvements.

What’s New / Fixed:

• Fixed an issue where the Copy Email button triggered repeatedly on multiple taps
• Resolved keyboard pop-up issues for smoother input handling and improved performance
• Fixed scroll-to-top behavior and edit handle button issues on the inbox page
• Enhanced overall app performance and responsiveness
• Improved OTP detection accuracy and email viewing experience

Testing Notes

• Ensure the app is updated to version 1.0.0+4 before continuing daily testing
• Focus on testing copy functionality, OTP detection, inbox scrolling, and keyboard behavior
• Report any issues, bugs, or UI inconsistencies through the feedback form / Through Play Store
• Complete the daily check-in to maintain the 16-day testing streak
