Dennis Thomas – 79 Miles and 3,547 Feet of Climbing at https://www.strava.com/activities/6290619599 who wrote: “Awesome day. Finished with 79.6 miles and 3,547 ft. Best part of the day was seeing Chuck charge off the back, scream pass everyone, dive into the lead, and pull the group most of the way through Brea Canyon at a pace that would put a smile on Andy Hampton’s face. It was truly epic. Job Well Done Chuck!”
Thanks, Dennis, that was fun. It was the least I could do after everyone waited for me on Diamond Bar Blvd. I was dead on the climbs so I gave it full gas on Brea Canyon after Larry Painter got us off to a really good fast start.
I’m looking forward to more Saturday Centuries in the coming months.
