Thanks for coming out for the Oceanside Century!!
It was a great day on the bike Saturday and thanks to everyone who came out. The breezes kept the temperatures just about right. Of course, those breezes turned into stiff headwinds for growth experiences on the return trip.
Personally, I made the mistake of DE-training over the winter which I found was a really bad idea because at my old age, it’s taking me a LONG time to gain back some fitness. So this was a really good and hard ride but I’ve got a long way to go.

As a side note, Bruce Campbell has been doing a lot more than hanging out at the Margarita Bar. Last week, he rode a Century around Lake Mead and he’s been cranking out huge rides up near Folsom and Auburn. So he’s on fire.
I’m looking forward to more Saturday Centuries in the coming months.
