KamenRider Zi-O (Kamen Raida Jio) is the 29th entry of the Kamen Rider franchise and the 20th entry in the Heisei Era. The series is primarily themed around time, while also serving as a tribute to the entire Heisei Era due to being its final entry.
Time is a very abstract concept which can be defined as "the continued sequence of events within existence that contains everything that has ever happened". Time is an important subject studied within religion, philosophy, and science. The name is based on a Proto-Indo-European root word meaning 'to divide', relating how time is used as a unit of measurement in common culture.

Fourze Armor is Zi-O's alternate form modeled after Kamen Rider Fourze Base States, accessed by using the Fourze Ridewatch in the left-hand slot of the Ziku-Driver. This form's visor reads "Fourze" (フォーゼ, Foze) in katakana and its shoulder pads are modeled after the Rocket Module. This form allows Zi-O to turn into a rocket and survive in outer space. Gaim Armor is Zi-O's alternate form modeled after Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms, accessed by using the Gaim Ridewatch in the left-hand slot of the Ziku-Driver. Ryuki Form is the evolved form of Decade Armor modeled after Kamen Rider Ryuki Survive, accessed by inserting the Ryuki Ridewatch into the Decade Ridewatch. Faiz Form is the evolved form of Decade Armor modeled after Kamen Rider Faiz Axel Form, accessed by inserting the Faiz Ridewatch into the Decade Ridewatch. Zi-O II is Zi-O's super form accessed by using the Zi-O Ridewatch II in both slots of the Ziku-Driver. In this form, Zi-O can manipulate time and can see into the future to predict their movements. This form's primary finisher is the Twice Time Break. Zi-O II first appears in Episode 22.
Zi-O Trinity is Zi-O's fusion form accessed by using the Zi-O Trinity Ridewatch in the left-hand slot of the Ziku-Driver. This form fuses Geiz and Woz onto Zi-O's body as armor, granting him access to the abilities and weaponry of all 3 components. This form's primary finisher is the Trinity Time Break Burst Explosion. Zi-O Trinity first appears in Episode 30.
Grand Zi-O is Zi-O's Final Form accessed by using the Grand Zi-O Ridewatch in the left-hand slot of the Ziku-Driver. This form wields the power of all 20 primary Heisei Kamen Riders, with statues of them adorning his body. Tapping one of these statues once creates a time portal that summons the selected Kamen Rider from any moment in their timeline while tapping it twice summons a weapon that Kamen Rider wielded. This form's primary finisher is the All Twenty Time Break. Grand Zi-O first appears in Episode 39.
Oma Zi-O is Zi-O's alternate Final Form accessed by using the Oma Zi-O Driver. This form wields the powers of every single Kamen Rider in existence and possesses power of time, space, and reality. This form's finisher is the Oma Zi-O Hissatsu Geki (Oma Zi-O Finishing Strike). Sougo exclusively turns into Oma Zi-O in Episode 49.
Oma Form is Zi-O's movie form, accessed by using the Oma Zi-O Ridewatch in the right-hand slot of the Ziku-Driver. This form's primary finisher is the King Time Break. Oma Form first appears in the movie Over Quartzer.
