Jul 2018) I have started to optimize all the latest Korg styles for use with the Tyros 5 on a one by one basis. All style parts are thus now fully optimized to play correct using all the latest Yamaha voices. These will play perfect on all models from the PSR S770upwards.

(Sep 2018) By combining the latest version of Mix Master with the last version of MidiPlayer and by using Revo Drum Cleaner, I was able to come up with a much more accurate direct Genos to PSR S770 style conversion - start off by auditioning the "Dance" category to see exactly what I mean.

(Jun 2015) Yamaha could have given us many of the same vocal styles as on the Tyros 5. For the styles provided below to work, you MUST install the Yep "Church & Christmas" add on as I'm using voices from that. I'm sure more could be converted, but these are the ones I was able to convert this past month.

(Oct 2015) I have tuned these styles on the PSR-S950 to my personal liking. Two notes: (1) Mostly styles ending with an "H" draw voices from the Church & Christmas YEP package; (2) Styles that start with "HIQ_" in the Rock genre are extremely HIgh Quality styles and draw voices from as far as the CVP709 series. I personally tuned these styles to perfection, however, they will play correct on your S950 as is even if the voices do not show.

Henni, a PSR Tutorial forum member with a PSR-3000, has been collecting styles from all over the internet for quite some time. He has generously provided the "best" styles from his style collection to several sites, including the PSR Tutorial. Henni's collection, which in Nov. '07 included over 4,300 styles (165 MB of data), invariably included quite a few styles that originated from the PSR Tutorial. I have filtered Henni's collection to remove duplicates that are already available elsewhere on this site or on the PSR Tutorial Styles CD. Even so, there were still about 2,300 "new" styles that we did not have. This "new" collection will take up 94 MB on your hard drive. It is available below with each category in a zipped file. These zipped files, in total, represent 27 MB of data so you may not want to tackle downloading them all at once, particularly if you do not have a high-speed connection!

There are too many files to list all the styles, but the table below indicates the number of styles in the zip file and the size of the zip file. I summarized the original categories Henni used, which resulted in fewer, but larger, zip files. If a category had more than 250 files (too many for a folder in the PSR), I created a few more categories to spread those files out. Note that styles that may have the very similar names, sound different because they originated on different keyboard models. It will take you many, many moons to try out all the goodies in this collection! Thank you very much, Henni!

(Oct 2008) The styles below have been adjusted to use Mega Voices. I also upgraded all these Mega Styles to Tyros 3 format and it makes for a huge improvement. I've added around 700 new Mega styles to this collection which brings the total to well over 2,000 styles - all playable on the PSR-3000 & upwards. The styles are sorted alphabetically by style name.

The letters in the zip filenames below indicate the style names in each collection. For example, the "MegaT3_DE.ZIP" file has styles beginning with the letter D, or E. Here's an MS Excel file with a complete listing.

(Oct 2008) Here are another 170 styles that were recent uploads by various members of the Yamaha-PSR-Styles group. I have converted everything that would convert to Megavoices. All styles are T3 compatible.

Here are my absolute most favorite styles tweaked to the best of my abilities for my PSR3K: (Note: I've regrouped the 315 files into a number of categories to limit the size of each of the zip files. - JW)

(Oct 2010) Henni continued tuning styles and sent in a few hundred additional various styles in addition to the new batch of favorites. Some of these styles have abbreviated song names for the filename, some have generic names. Henni often uses different icons to distinguish similarly named files. However, this doesn't always work on other keyboards, so I've appended a number to similar names, e.g. Bluegrass1, Bluegrass2, Bluegrass3, etc. to help distinguish these styles. After eliminating duplicate styles, I regrouped the collection into 6 zip files with about 50 styles in each pack. Although tuned for the 3000, these will, of course, play perfectly fine on many other models as well. Have fun exploring this new collection!

(Jan 2009) These are converted Tyros 3 onboard styles, tweaked very heavily. I've transposed all the bass voices, added proper voices to all bass voices, changed volume settings and voices used for many other voices and changed drum volumes for all styles. Converting the styles is actually a lot of work. Some convert more or less ok with Jorgens version 2, others with version 4. Then I rescale the bass voices, tweak the other voices, volumes and find the correct guitars, which is the most difficult part. I'm sure others can improve on these results, but, hopefully, these will give you a good start on your own tweaking.

(Mar 2009) Here are some awesome onboard Korg PA800 styles converted to Mega Voices plus OTS. (Thanks to Roger for the initial Korg to Yamaha conversion - these are the absolute best Korg/Yamaha conversion yet!)

(Oct 2010) Charley converted many of the SD1 styles for use on the PSR-2000. Henni modified these conversions to include Mega voices and converted them to the PSR-3000 format. You can find the Charley's conversions on the Ketron styles page.

[This collection is divided into two parts. The first lists styles by first letter. These may, in fact, be song titles, but they are not titles that I would recognize. The second part has styles grouped by the style genre. In both cases, I have eliminated duplicate styles. -- Joe Waters]

(Oct 2010) These are the new Tyros 4 styles modified to work on my PSR-3000. Of course some voices will be different to the original ones as I had to use my own discretion for suitable replacements. (Bear in mind that I do not have a Tyros 4 to compare.) For some styles I had to copy some guitar sections from the modified Tyros 3 styles. Nevertheless, these make for lovely additions to my existing collection.

The table below lists all of the styles in the PSR-S950 and PSR-S750 (the number in parentheses by each style category is the number of S750 styles). Styles highlighted by a blue font are not available in the S750. A bold blue font indicates one of the new "audio" styles. There are a total of 98 styles in the S950 that are not available in the S750. Styles highlighted by a red font are in the S750, but not included in the S950. There are 15 such S750-unique styles. The numbers following the style name are the default tempo and the time signature.

(Jan 2013) Here are some Tyros 4 styles setup to play on the S950. Not all Tyros 4 styles will play on the S950 due to voices on the T4 not found on the S950. I eliminated those styles and added or changed the OTS voices to fit the S950. I will do more as time allows.

This Christmas style collection for PSR S970 is drawn from the Standard, Super Mega, Super Mega Plus and Special collections for S970, which are available below. These styles may also be compatible with the T4, T5, C6, & C7 keyboards. There are 89 styles available in this Christmas-S950.zip file. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The nearly 1,300 styles in the "Super Mega Styles collection" includes all SFF1 Mega styles from Tyros1, Tyros2, CVP-309, CVP-409, PSR-3000, PSR-S900 and PSR-S700. I also included Oriental Styles from PSR-OR700. The term "Super Mega" means Super Articulation voices in OTS and Mega Voices in tracks. For this collection, I picked all Tyros1 styles as basic and added other styles if they were new and slightly different. I also did some slight revoicing. I put different icons for each style, mostly matching the original.

(Jun 2018) 219 Genos styles have been converted for use with the S970. While converting GENOS styles, I played and checked all the styles one by one. I found many new styles in old names. For example Bluegrass, Country 8Beat1, ChaChaCha, etc. Many old styles are given in new names 9-8Waltz as FinalWaltz, 70'sChartCountry as TopChartCountry etc. Many new styles are given in new names (MoonWaltz, 80'sChristmas, AmbientChristmas, etc). I picked the new and slightly different styles and converted those styles. All the converted Genos styles are in the Super Mega Plus table above.

This style collection includes various Styles from Internet and Expansion Packs. I have updated all the styles and added many new styles in 11 categories. I have converted many Expansion styles. I have remaped the new kits by using the drumkits available in S970. These styles also can be used in TYROS3, 4, 5, CVP-509, 609, 709, S950 and S770. Some styles of Entertainer section need drum remaping in T3, C5 and S950. Because they have no 'HouseKit'. The voice selections are up to the standared of S770.

I made a separate YEP Indian style style collection for PSR-S950. The zip file includes the methodology iin a text file and the Program Change details in a Microsoft XL file. These 70 styles work properly in the Yamaha PSR-S950 only if the "PSR-S950 Indian Pack.yep" is installed (the pack is available for purchase at the link provided).

I have additional YEP Indian styles for the S950. This Collection includes the YEP "Indian2" Pack and Bonus styles of PSR-S650, PSR-S750 and PSR-S950. Also new "Indian Devotional" and "Indian Entertainer" packs of PSR-S950. These styles will work properly in PSR-S950 only while any one of the three packs (S950-Indian2 / IndianDevotional / IndianEntertainer) is installed.
