Here are important ORAUSA Youth related information for the upcoming 2019 ORAUSA convention in DC .
Please forward this information to your members
- Youth Registration: To register youths to the 2019 convention youth program, please click here to register. Free registration closes May15, 2019. There will be a $10 per child per day fee for any registration after May 15, 2019. We have included bowling for youths 14 to 26 but we need to get a head count so as to know how much discount we can offer given that cost is $35 per person (Bowling + transportation + food + bowling shoes). Youths 14-26 registering for bowling after May 15 will pay the full price of $35, for each available space.
- Talent Show Competition: To sign up (FREE) to compete on the talent show competition, please sign up here. Deadline to signup is May15, 2019.
- To advertise your business and/or perform during our talent show “commercial break”, please send email to oray...@orausayouths.us
- Graduating Youths: ORAUSA presents certificate to our graduating youths during our annual convention. For graduating seniors, please fill out the form here. Deadline is May15, 2019
- Youth Mailing List Subscription: To subscribe to ORAUSA youth mailing list, please subscribe here
- Donate to Youth Program: To donate to the youth program, please donate here. Once we have receive your donation, we will add your name to our sponsorship page on our web site. Thanks to members who have pledged/donated.
- Youth Chaperone: If you are interested in being a chaperone during the 2019 convention, please apply here. Deadline to apply is May15, 2019
- We would like to hear from our youths who have benefited from any of our awards in the past. Please send email to oray...@orausayouths.us OR go to our mailing list subscription page and share your experience by video or in writing.

- Youth Presentation: We encourage our youths to participate in presentations. If you have a youth who will like present, please see note from Sir GeoBen Oleru: “Please send your information to Dr. V. Agubokwu, either by e-mail: vincent....@gmail.com or Telephone: 301-335-0371; and carbon copy (cc) geob...@yahoo.com (or call Sir Geoben@ 240.475.2378). Information you send should include topic and outline of the topic you wish to discuss. The deadline to get this information to us is April 30, 2019. To those who have already expressed interest by contacting us, I say thank you.”
- Youth Awards: Please see the email that was sent out by the Chairman, ORAUSA Award Committee – Chief Sir Francis Ibezim . Here are youth specific awards:
- ORLU NEW GENERATION AWARD: ONE new generation award for our children (young adult) not only based in academia or degrees but based on their accomplishments or drive and, interest towards our African/Igbo culture, the appreciation of our African heritage and family values.
- IKECHUKWU ONWUZURIKE LEGACY EDUCATION AWARD: To be awarded to high school senior or college student from the hosting affiliate with highest (GPA) academic excellence. This award would be named after an individual with specific donation toward this scholarship. All enquiries regarding these awards should be directed to the Chairman, ORAUSA Award Committee – Chief Sir Francis Ibezim through phone number 512-800-4607 or email franci...@yahoo.com”

ORAUSA 2016 Activities - We thank all our generous donors and affiliates for supporting our projects so far. AUSTIN convention is upon us. Lots of work to be done in 2016. Easter FREE medical mission and ICT Project all complete. Let's go back to work.
