Before you start writing any code in functions, you have to setup all the basics. Make the part, create the BOM (Template or Super BOM?), make the configurator base, design the entry forms, creat the rules.
Hello,
I work for an Aerospace interior company and we are trying to figure out if Product configurator would work for us. We are somewhat new to Epicor and still trying to learn everything it has to offer and what would work for our company. Can someone give me some good places to look to see if this is something that would work? We have many changes as the design is being built as well as many customer specific options to each item we build at this time. Is this even looking into? Engineering at this time do not use Epicor at all.
Configurators can be found in various forms and different industries (Felfernig et al. (2014)). They are employed in B2B (business to business), as well as B2C (business to consumer) markets and are operated either by trained staff or customers themselves. Whereas B2B configurators are primarily used to support sales and lift production efficiency, B2C configurators are often employed as design tools that allow customers to "co-design" their own products. This is reflected in different advantages according to usage:[1]
Configurators enable mass customization, which depends on a deep and efficient integration of customers into value creation. Salvador et al. identified three fundamental capabilities determining the ability of a company to mass-customize its offering, i.e. solution space development, robust process design and choice navigation (Salvador, Martin & Piller (2009)). Configurators serve as an important tool for choice navigation. Configurators have been widely used in e-Commerce. Examples can be found in different industries like accessories, apparel, automobile, food, industrial goods etc. The main challenge of choice navigation lies in the ability to support customers in identifying their own solutions while minimizing complexity and the burden of choice, i.e. improving the experience of customer needs, elicitation and interaction in a configuration process. Many efforts have been put along this direction to enhance the efficiency of configurator design, such as adaptive configurators(Wang & Tseng (2011);Jalali & Leake (2012)). The prediction is integrated into the configurator to improve the quality and speed of configuration process. Configurators may also be used to limit or eliminate mass customization if intended to do so. This is accomplished through limiting of allowable options in data models.
I downloaded Apple Configurator v1.1 from the App Store to an iPad 9th Gen running iPadOS 16.1. When I try to launch the Configurator, the display goes black for a second and then returns to the home screen. I have neither a current Mac available nor an iPhone, only a stack of new iPads purchased through Amazon.
App not working on Ipad, once installed it shows version 1.0 is installed even though it says they running on version 1.1 in store.Have reloaded the app multiple times, reloaded Ipad even, app installs but when you run it just goes black and pop back to home screen. Please can we get an update on this? been broken more than a 2 months for me
I have a stack of Ipads and cannot get them deployed as I do not have a IPhone or Mac to use configurator on ... I have tons of IPads and cannot use one as an Admin for configurator?? Please fix this and allow IPADS to run the configurator.
My company setup is to use my BYOD iPhone 14 to enroll company iPad minis in Apple Business Manager using Apple Configurator 1.1 on my phone, and my company laptop. I have successfully enrolled 3 iPad minis. I cannot get the next iPad mini to register with the circular camera scan. After erasing and backing up the iPad mini, I power it on, choose language, login to the same wifi that my phone uses, then with Configurator open on my phone, I bring it up to the iPad but am not getting the camera scan. It just goes into manual setup.
Hello I am trying to set up Apple configurator and I have followed the instructions " Enter a name as required and copy the auto-enrollment URL shown in the device group from the SMC server into the Hostname or URL field" but in device group the auto-enrollment URL is not shown.
i wasnt aware that you could prepare a device on apple configurator 2 that has already been registered with DEP? when i have tested this the prepare just errors as the device is registered with DEP. i cant recall the error message but its quite clearly stated.
İ am employee of juniper partner. i used configurator tool once and did a list. And i finished my job before i closed the page. but after than (almost after 3 hours), when i tried to reach configurator tool, i couldn't do that. when i click it, domain name is changing, its like going another page (iam-sso bla bla), but it refresh itself and come back home page again that target=_blank
But i think my session is not closed at juniper.net. because when i closed the page and opened a new page, i click log in button, and it log me automatically, dont ask nay information about authentication.
My current process is:
Using apple configurator, I prepare the device. I have to do manual configuration and tick add to device enrollment program. I can't tick "activate and complete enrollment, or else the ipad hangs when fetching remote management config. (yes, it has a working wifi config)
So, after preparing the ipads, I then have to go into Apple Business Manager, download the serial numbers from settings/MDM servers/Apple Configurator 2, and add them into the Meraki MDM section (and yes, default device assignment action is for Configurator 2 is to do this, it just doesn't).
After running a DEP sync in dashboard, I can then start a manual setup of the ipad. This downloads remote profile and shows the device in dashboard, but NOT as supervised. DEP settings show as assigned, not pushed.
What sate are the iPads in during the first setup? What I have found is that they can not be setup at all prior to applying the profile settings in the DEP list in Systems Manager. If the iPad setup has been started in anyway prior to that step, a full wipe is needed.
When it comes to the ABM/Configurator flow, it works a lot better when you are buying new devices that are automatically added to ABM and your default MDM. The configurator approach is a bit more intensive but you have to remember that up until about a year ago, there was no way to manually add previously purchased iOS devices. This, while being a bit of a pain setting up, is still much better than nothing at all.
Apple Configurator DOES add the devices to DEP - Its just that once there, you have to manually move them from the "MDM server" (devices added by apple configurator) to the meraki MDM server, This is despite the default DEP profile in Apple Business centre being set to meraki.
Wifi profiles have to be configured (despite being part of the AC part), the devices appear in dashboard, but then it's a hit and miss as to whether they show as being pushed or assigned under their DEP settings, and the SM app says the device isn't registered, despite the damn things being manageable from dashboard.
A product configurator is a web page or tool that allows users to customize and select various options or features for a specific product, such as a car. It helps users visualize different configurations and make choices according to their preferences.
I am new to airtable and trying to determine if this is the proper tool to create a product configurator for our website. I was wondering if anyone has created a product configurator before with airtable and can recommend a starting point or share a template they may have? We are not going to include prices which should make this easier. I am just trying to get an understanding of where to start.
Our product is electric heaters so we would select a type (air heater) then Volts, watts, termination, fittings etc. After they select all the options we would want a quote created and sent to us in order to view it and quote them a price.
Your air heater type will probably be a linked record field
You fittings field will probably be a single select or a linked record field.
Volts and watts are also probably single select fields.
Stubli is a global mechatronics solution provider with four dedicated Divisions: Electrical Connectors, Fluid Connectors, Robotics and Textile. We are an international group that currently operates in 28 countries.
The automation app award winning CombiTac configurator from Stubli Electrical Connectors is the most intuitive modular connector configurator available today.
Accessible through every end device, it enables you to quickly and easily build your own personalized CombiTac step-by-step, and offers 3D interactive graphical assistance throughout the configuration process.
This configurator is about to go into maintenance mode.It will be unavailable in 5 minutes. Please click the 'SAVE' button and copy your shortcode. When you come back, please click "LOAD CONFIGURATION" from the main menu and type in your saved shortcode. You will then be able to continue.
It looks like you are trying to use PAN-Configurator instead of the PAN Migration tool. The initial error that you are seeing is that it can't seem to resolve to github which would be something that needs to be fixed depending on where/how you are installing.
The lib/panconfigurator.php is one of the libarary file sources, If you are not able to open that file then pan-configurator is always going to fail to load correctly. @cpainchaud would be able to help you more than I can.
