Adding shards to an existing project.

Hello,

I would like to use octopus to shard our database, but do not need to replicate any data to the new database.

What is the best way to move the schema across to a new shard? Should I edit my migrations retroactively or move the schema over? Is this process currently manual or is any of it automated?
