Operating system: Win7-64 Pro
CPU:I7-2600k
UMP Octave Version: 8.2

The issue comes about when I launch multiple plots when called in a custom function.  If I close those plots, the GNUPlot.exe is still running in the processes window.  This can cause many of these to accumulate.  Even after UMP Octave is closed completely, these still show up in the processes manager window.  I have run this code on Win 8-32 and I do not seem to have the same issue, though I have not done as extensive of testing as this is on my little Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet.

I call the plots in my function in the following fashion:

figure;
plot(x1,y1)

figure;
plot(x2,y2)

figure;
plot(x3,y3)

figure;
plot(x4,y4)
