Dear OCTA folks,

Frank came home on Saturday, couple of days of "normal" as he was doing so well in the hospital after this 3-way bypass last Tuesday, amazing everyone :-).

He overdid on Sunday, didn't sleep well last night. Poor guy. We are just looking for a sensible routine, when best to take pain meds so he can work on getting his lungs healthy after being "put to sleep" during the operation, and work around his wired sternum  limitations.

His spirits are good, and recovery is still ahead of schedule. His chest incision is very tender and will take about 12 weeks to heal completely.

I am doing better with sleep and during the day. I am trying to pace myself with Frank as he learns how to recover.

Every effort seems to tire him so if you call and I answer, it may be he is not up to talking on the phone yet.

Thank you for your care and concern,

 MAT
