Ladies,

This is the email I sent out earlier this year to let you know that Walt and I will be leading a ride to the 2012 AMA International Women and Motorcycling Conference, starting on Sunday, July 22.  We still have a few spots for some more riders, so if you are interested, please click this link and fill out the form!  

2012 AMA International Women and Motorcycling Conference We now have the dates and the place, so now is the time to mark it on your calendar for this July!  When:  July 26-29, 2012 Where:  Carson City, NV Website:  http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/events/womenandmotorcycling We are VERY excited that the AMA has chosen a location in the West, and Carson City will be a great venue with miles of great roads and beautiful mountains (and Lake Tahoe) close by.  All of you that attended the last conference in 2009 found out what a great time this was!  If you weren’t able to attend in 2009, here’s your opportunity to experience the great seminars, demo rides, networking opportunities, day rides (guided and unguided), training opportunities, and just having fun hanging out with a diverse group of women motorcycle riders! The AMA only holds this conference every 3 years… And the next one will probably be on the other side of the country – so try your hardest to be in Carson City this summer!! I will be riding to the conference and I invite all of you to join me for that ride.  I am currently working on the details, but I plan on leaving Lancaster, CA on Sunday, July 22 to ride the great roads in the Sierras.  The plan is to visit breath-taking destinations.  I will create an itinerary with one lodging suggestion each night.  I am going to try to block some rooms for our group, but everyone will be responsible for individual reservations and payments except for the last night.  I have reserved the whole Benton Hot Springs Bed and Breakfast for the Wednesday night before the last leg to Carson City.  Since this is a “one price for the whole place,” I will need to facilitate that night’s lodging.  The more we fill up this location, the less it will cost each person – but we won’t let it get too full – space is limited.  I hope that as we travel north, our group will grow as more of you join the ride.  For those of you that live north of the Los Angeles area, you can join up with us along the way at the nightly stops.  I will also be offering touring tips and hints so you can begin to get ready.  I am going to email these to all participants and post these on our Streetmasters website.   There’s still a lot of planning to do, but if you are interested in joining the ride or just want to stay in the loop to get lots of great information, go to our Women’s Conference page on our website and go to “PLEASE CLICK HERE” to fill out my Interest Form.  I will then provide you with updates of the plans as they develop.  This is going to be a great time!!!   I hope you will join us!!!!
