[Iron Angels - LA Chapter of WOW]

Hi WOW Members & friends,

 

I know it has been a long time since you all have heard from the LA Iron Angels.  With all the planning for monthly rides over the past year and the planning for the July WOW Ride-In in San Jose, I have needed a time to recuperate.  I am sending out a couple of reminders to WOW members from National WOW.

 

1. The 2011 All Member Mileage Contest ended on October 31st. Tomorrow 11/15 is the last day to send in your ending mileage, and you can now do it online at www.womenonwheels.org.

 

2. WOW is having an end-of-season merchandise sale of up to 50%. Check it out at the above WOW website.

 

Also, I plan to renew the Iron Angels WOW chapter membership for 2012 ($25 to renew) with the little money our chapter has, supplemented by my own money.  I do not think I will continue as Director of the Iron Angels.  If any member is interested in continuing the chapter and being the new Director, please contact me through this email (la_iro...@yahoo.com). 

 

If anyone wants to plan rides, you can invite the OC & LA members/WOW friends through this OC Spirit Riders listserve (ocspiri...@googlegroups.com).  Note I have never maintained this listserve and do not know how to add, remove or change email addresses on it.

IF YOU GET NO TAKERS you should inquire about combining the 2 chapters OC and LA ....

 

i can't go to either too far away - but being a part of WOW (national) is what i have done for sometime now.  IT was great meeting eveeryone at the San Jose in July ride in.
