I watched my High School Government teacher get his 2nd dog from Guide Dogs of America AND my neighbor raised a pup for Guide Dogs of America and I was able to watch the pup graduate into a guide dog and go to his new home. If you've never experienced something like this, it's worth your while to check it out.
So all you ladies out there ... Please participate in this ride. It's such a worth while cause.

Subject: [OC Spirit Riders] 8th Annual Ride for Guides -- May 22nd
If you plan to join the Iron Angels to support the 8th Annual Ride for Guides, remember the $25 early registration needs to be sent in to Guide Dogs of America by 5/1 (otherwise it cost $30). Early registration also includes one raffle ticket for a 2011 Harley Davidson. I've included a link to access the event flyer & registation form. http://www.guidedogsofamerica.org/1/2010/12/eighth-annual-motorcycle-ride-for-guides/Past routes for the Ride for Guides have included Malibu & Angeles Forest. There is a Poker Run with puppies at each stop, a BBQ lunch, and a pin, all included with registration. There will also be Vendors & Raffles. Iron Angels Meet Point:
9:00 am at Roxford
Chevron 12881 Encinitas Ave (Roxford East exit off I-5 north of I-405 junction).
9:15 am we will ride together the 1.5 miles to Guide Dogs of America (13445 Glenoaks Blvd)
