Car Loop Reminders

Hello Odyssey Parents!

As we begin our school year, we want to share some important reminders about our car loop:

·         Parents using the car loop to drop off and pick up children must drop off and pick up at the front of the school at the designated safety cones. Students may not be dropped off throughout the loop – THIS IS FOR STUDENT SAFETY. We have extra staff available to ensure that your children are walked to their classes if they need assistance.

·         Our front lot is closed off during arrival and dismissal for student safety and to help the car loop flow more smoothly.

·         Please make sure your LIME GREEN CAR TAG is displayed and visible. This helps our loop go more quickly.

·         Walkers/bike riders (& parent walk ups) will be dismissed after busses dismiss (after 2:55pm).

·         For the safety and well-being of our student walkers, we are requesting that parents NOT park on Raleigh and walk up. The car loop will go more quickly and smoothly after the first couple weeks.

·         Parents may not park in the Pineapple Cove parking lot.

Please be patient and allow a little extra time as the school year begins for drop off and pick up. It takes a week or so for our pick up to fall into a smooth routine. Thank you, as always, for your support.

*NOTE: if you do not have your car tag, you will need to present a state-issued photo ID for us to verify student pick up.
