I would like to boot clonezilla from usb and boot by grub4dos.
My USB stick is 8G, FAT32 format.

But I encounter a boot failed after below message.
Anyone know what the problem is?

"FAT utf8 is not a recommended IO character set for FAT filesystems,
filesystem will be case sensitive"
"Begin: Running /script/live-premount .....done"

=============================================
I modify "menu.lst" of Grub4dos and include content as below.

title - CloneZilla
find --set-root --ignore-floppies /live/clonezilla.iso
map --heads=0 --sectors-per-track=0 /live/clonezilla.iso (hd32)
map --hook
chainloader (hd32)
rootnoverify
boot
=============================================

PS: I find another way to boot USB form internet, it can not work as
well.
step1: Copy vmlinuz and initrd.img to USB /live/ folder.
step2: modify meny.lst as below

title - CloneZilla
kernel /live/vmlinuz boot=live iso-scan/filename=/live/clonezilla.iso
ocs_live_run="ocs-live-general" ocs_live_extra_param=""
ocs_live_keymap="" ocs_live_batch="no" ocs_lang="zh_CN.UTF-8" vga=788
ip=frommedia nolocales
initrd /live/initrd.img
=============================================

This is not the problem. It's just a warning.

Are you sure grub4dos supports finding iso file?

Dear Steven,

Tks for your support.
I ask Mr. Thomas as well, his opinion is same to you.
At last I used Live-HDD booting function and it is workable.
I think it is suit for me.

So which version of Clonezilla live did you use?
Please let us know so that it's easier for us to reproduce the problem.
Thanks.

Steven.

This is weird...
We have no problem to use grub2 to boot clonezilla-live-1.2.5-35-i686 iso.
Anyway, at least the vmlinuz1/initrd1.img/filesystem.squashfs method works.

Steven.
