Lite -Server Multicast 很慢

[Test Qoogle]

最近試 Multicast Restore Image

只 Restore 一台時速率都有 1.4GB/min 左右

Restore 兩台以上時速率都會掉至 250MB/min 左右...

試了好幾個版本都一樣

最後發現我的網路環境內只要有串接的電腦網卡是 Intel 82579LM 的就會影響

(不管該電腦是開機或關機 , BIOS 內 Enable 或 Disable Boot From LAN 都一樣) 

拔掉就不會掉速...

請問這方面有無解決的方法 ?

Multicast的話，只要有一個豬隊友，大家都會慢下來。
有可能是driver的問題，也有可能是網路交換器的問題等。
可以先改用broadcast的方式試看看，或者換一台不同廠牌，沒有網管的網路交換器看看。

有換過無網管交換器試過了 (TP-LINK . D-LINK)

我的意思是說只要 Switch 上有串接 82579LM 網卡的電腦就會拖慢 Multicast 速度

此台電腦不管沒有要 Restore Image 也是相同的狀況會拖慢 Multicast 速度...

我的測試環境有三種不同廠牌的電腦 Lenovo M81 . Acer VX6620G . ASUS BP6375 皆使用 Intel 82579LM 網卡

只要串上來其中一台就會拖慢~
所以我懷疑 Intel 82579LM 有這方面的 Bug...

剛才試了

Broadcast 也一樣很慢,不管是選一台 Client 或兩台以上都很慢

Multicast 只選一台 Client 的話就很快,兩台以上就很慢~

這兩個版本有含non-free的firmware，也許支援的比較好？

我試的版本都是近期出的幾個穩定版本,看起來結果一樣

順便回報一下剛才測試的環境跟結果

lite-server : Lenovo M83 (Intel I217-LM)

client : Acer VX6630G (Intel I217-LM)

豬隊友 : Acer VX6620G (Intel 82579LM)

Switch 只接 lite-server 跟 client 利用 Broadcast 對一台 client 作 Restore Image 時速度很快 (1.xxGB/min)

一接上豬隊友(Power Off 狀態) 速度馬上開始掉下來,最後只到 2xxMB/min

一拔掉豬隊友速度馬上開始回升,最後回到 1.xxGB/min

綜合 Multicast 和 Broadcast 的測試

個人認為只要接上 Intel 82579LM 的網卡就會有很明顯的影響

這個就算在power off狀態，但是因為網路線連接著，有可能是在WoL
standby模式，它還是會干擾multicast，所以真的只能拔掉。或者可以試看看在那台豬隊友的作業系統關到WoL模式看看。
