備份raw disk

已使用最新的Clonezilla Ubuntu或Debian版本! 透過PXE開進Clonezilla.

當備份一顆SATA SSD，使用USB轉SATA的接到一台server並且PXE開機到Clonezilla，選disk to image要先備份一整顆SATA SSD到印象檔，最後出現找不到這棵SSD。

但是切到命令列lsblk可以找到這顆要備份1.7T ssd。

此顆SSD透過其他Linux server可以正常掛載(ext4)並且看到裡面資料,證明SSD是沒問題的!

查看AI告訴我可能原因是這顆SSD是raw disk，沒有畫過分區表(使用fdisk將所有空間分配出來)

然後AI也說除非使用命令列模式帶-q1 強制 DD或者-q2 可能可以完整備份raw disk或者。

因為此顆SSD已經有資料了，且看起來只有sda應該我沒分區!直接格式化整顆ssd to ext4.

我的問題是Clonezilla如果在一般模式GUI就必須要分區? 如變成sda1，才會如AI說的才找的到才可以備份disk to image? 不然只能命令列-q 1 or -q 2手動備份?

這樣的裝置，在Clonezilla中會被視為分割區，所以，存的時候，請選"saveparts".

所以沒有分割區要選分割區為印象檔(saveparts)，還原就印象檔到分割區

對，還原的時候選restoreparts。
不過，因為你的硬碟，例如/dev/sda在選單可能不會出現。所以，要選進階模式，然後問你是
disk_or_part  Separate disk(s) and partition(s)                                                                               │
both_type_dev List both types of block devices together, i.e., show disk(s) and partition(s) simultaneously        

要選"both_type_dev"，這樣才有辦法列出/dev/sda讓你選。

謝謝，可以成功使用專家模式的both_type_dev選擇那顆SSD備份，現在還原

印象檔分割區

這裡我選disk_or_part或者both_type_dev都沒出現我要還原的ssd(1.7T)

但確定命令列有sda這顆

使用AI告訴我的指令方式還原似乎可行正常還原(/usr/sbin/ocs-sr -g auto -e1 auto -e2 -c -r -j2 -p choose restoreparts xxxxxxx-img sda)

請問GUI我選錯嗎?

強迫用這樣指令跑當然可以。
