avoid columns segmentation

Is it possible to avoid the segmentation in columns? For example I have a receipt like this:

item 1            price

item 2            price

item n            price

and I want to output just 3 lines without splitting each line in two columns.

I've tried ocropus-gpageseg with --maxcolseps 0 with luck
