Is this suitable for OCR of on screen fonts?

Hi,

I have LOTS of screen captures of different programs and websites.

What I want to do is locate all the text locations (x,y,w,h) and do
OCR on all the text.
As I read this is for scanned books and documents, is it suitable for
small size fonts thats are typically seen on computer screens or on
web-pages?

These fonts on computer screens are regular but often too small for
the open source OCR that I have seen.
