What?: To address ongoing technical issues with Brightspeed, all outbound calls from county phones are being temporarily routed through our AT&T circuit.

Why?: Brightspeed has been experiencing system disruptions that have caused static on the phone lines. Routing outbound calls through AT&T is a temporary measure to alleviate this issue until Brightspeed resolves the underlying problem.

What does this mean to me?: Outbound calls from county phones may appear on the recipient’s caller ID as coming from 919-968-2334, the AT&T number. This adjustment applies ONLY to outbound calls. Inbound calls may still experience static until Brightspeed addresses the issue.
