I want to comment on the spot rezoning proposal

I am firmly and adamantly against the spot rezoning on Lawrence rd in Hillsborough for a few reasons.
1. Traffic disruption
2. Affects on local property values
3. I’m moved to Hillsborough which is much more expensive than neighboring cities and towns because I liked/ loved the rural small town feel and community of Hillsborough. Hillsborough is a very special place and I have loved it here but this is a terrible idea. It’s not fair to the residents to spot redone. They bought with the understanding that the area would remain residential . It will destroy the value financial and more importantly the feel of our quaint town. People who live her love this town and feel a strong since of the community . The neighborhood are priceless. That can never be recovered if you ruin the area with unwanted development and unnecessary development. Please keep in a quiet residential area. The town I bought my home in 5 years ago. Don’t change it to a place that I wouldn’t want to live and others don’t either . It destroys the community.
