No Family Dollar in Cedar Grove!

Dear Orange County NC Planning Board,

Please do not recommend Family Dollar's conditional rezoning application to the BOCC! There are so many reasons why allowing Family Dollar to build a new store in Prospect Hill is not in the best interests of that community. Perhaps the top reason is they already have a Dollar General within a stone's throw!!! Family Dollar would bring nothing that this community does not already have. Also, the proposed site is on a protected watershed; the large building and surrounding parking lot would create runoff, light pollution, and other detrimental effects to the environment. Cedar Grove is known for its small farms and rural beauty - let's try to keep it that way.
