The Orange County Planning Board is an advisory board comprised of volunteer residents who have been appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (the elected officials).  The Planning Board makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).  The BOCC makes decisions on items the Planning Board has reviewed.

The Planning Board normally meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings are open to the public.  Agendas are posted approximately one week in advance at: http://orangecountync.gov/AgendaCenter/Planning-Board-26
