1.  OCPAC Programs.  On Wednesday, March 7, at noon at Mama Roja our speaker will be Catherine Connelly, a local expert on the Strong Cities Network, a globalist plan to take over law enforcement in American cities with the stated goal of working toward an “an alliance of nations” that would aspire to be “a global community.”  Here is a preview of some of the material.

Should you miss this program, it will be repeated the next day, Thursday, March 8, at 7:00 p.m. at the Northwest Library, 5600 NW 122nd Street, Oklahoma City.

On March 14 our speakers will be Steve Hawkins from the Oklahoma History Center, along with former Rep. Gary Banz.

On March 21 our speaker will be former University of Oklahoma Wrestling Coach Jack Spates.

2.  Hampering Your Right to Self-Government.  Representative John Enns (54% Conservative), from Enid, has authored HB 1603, which, if passed, would propose to make the people’s right to petition much more restrictive and harder to exercise.  Under current law, the people can petition to change laws or make new laws by gathering the signatures of eight percent of registered voters statewide.  The people may petition to change the state constitution by gathering fifteen percent of registered voters statewide.   This bill proposes to require that petition signatures come from EACH and EVERY COUNTY, rather than from anywhere in the state.  Imagine if grassroots activists had to collect signatures in all seventy-seven counties to get a proposal going.  What if the architects of State Question 640, which has protected us from billions of dollars’ worth of taxation over the years, had had to gather signatures from every county across the state?  Would they have been able to pull it off?  This bill is clearly designed to infringe upon the people’s right of self-governance and make it harder for the people to defend themselves against their own greedy and overbearing government.  The bill passed out of committee with the support of Republican Representatives Echols (65% Conservative), Cockroft (68%), Hall (67%), Mike Osburn (13%), Taylor (freshman from Seminole), and Kevin West (20%).  Ask your representative to vote NO on the House floor.

3.  Ludicrous Licensing.  Does one need a state license to manufacture tennis shoes in Oklahoma?  Our friends at the 1889 Institute recently asked, What is a pedorthist?  It sounds like someone who behaves inappropriately in a government school, but it is actually someone who designs and makes custom foot-supporting devices.  This occupation is licensed in only fifteen states, and, you guessed it, Oklahoma is one of them.  Licensed pedorthists enjoy a government protected monopoly in our state, because by law, they are the only individuals who can receive compensation from insurance carriers.  This is only one of dozens of occupations that suffer from needless state control.  Others include haircare specialists, funeral directors, embalmers, electrologists, and massage therapists.

Senator Nathan Dahm recognizes that regulation in general is a bad thing and tampers with the free market.  That is why he has proposed SB 1312 to disband the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering, so that customer satisfaction can drive the hair braiding and cutting business in Oklahoma.  For more on how state licensing hurts our economy, review the excellent work of the 1889 Institute.

4.  Taming the Federal Beast.  Federal tyranny is getting worse every day, and thanks to an upside down understanding of federalism, our local officials have not done much to protect us.  On the contrary, they rush to assist and smooth the way in exchange for federal dollars.  Those who understand the dangers of usurped authority and absolute power are outnumbered by those who are happy to be administrators in the Federal District of Oklahoma.

You will notice we say little as a PAC regarding federal politics and legislation.  That is because it is 99% abominable and there is nothing you can do to stop it at the federal level.  We have much more control of things close to home.  Our best hope for protecting and regaining liberties lost to the Feds is to use the strength and authority of our own state.  This will require elected officials who are willing to use their authority on our behalf.  Unfortunately, it is getting harder and harder to find legislators, or even a governor, willing to do their duty.

One of the questions we ask candidates in our interview process is, “How should Oklahoma respond to Executive Orders or acts of Congress or federal court opinions which are immoral or unlawful?”  Sadly, most candidates and elected officials want to defer to the Feds.  But it doesn’t have to be that way.  Over the weekend, at Dan Fisher’s Time for Justice Rally, we heard presentations of facts, history, legal truth, and moral truth about how Oklahoma can tame the Federal Beast.  We look forward to sharing those videos as they become available from the Fisher campaign.

During this event Dan Fisher unveiled his plan to abolish abortion in Oklahoma.  Learn more at FisherForGovernor.com.

5.  Stitt for Governor.  Who is Kevin Stitt, and why is he running for governor of Oklahoma?  What does he propose to do about taxes, gun control, abortion, federal overreach, education, and economic development?  Kevin Stitt explored these issues and more during his visit with the Oklahoma Conservative PAC.  Check out the video of Kevin Stitt.
