We have two bird walks this weekend.  I hope you will be able to join us for one or both.

==================================

Bird Walk at Whitehall Forest
Saturday, April 11⋅8:00am – 12:00pm

Flinchum's Phoenix, 650 Phoenix Rd, Athens, GA 30605, USA
Join us for a bird walk at Whitehall Forest.  This is a special treat as Whitehall is not usually open to the public, and it is a fantastic location for birding in the Athens-Clarke County area.

We will meet along the side of the entrance road just outside the gate.  Once we have all assembled, we will caravan down to the parking area at Flinchum's Phoenix.  After the gate is closed you will not be able to get in, so please don't be late.  The gate will open automatically from the inside so birders may leave any time they wish.

Our bird walks are open to the public and welcome birders of all ages and experience levels. Bring binoculars, water, insect repellent, and snacks if desired, and dress for the weather with comfortable shoes.

For questions, contact Ed Maioriello at fiel...@oconeeriversaudubon.org or 706-296-5275.

Important: Bird walks may be canceled or details may change. Always check www.oconeeriversaudubon.org the night before for updates.
