Hi everyone,

What makes a bird a bird? What allows owls to hunt so effectively at night? And just how sharp is a Red-tailed Hawk’s vision?

Join us Thursday, February 5th at 7:00 PM at Sandy Creek Nature Center (205 Old Commerce Rd, Athens, GA). Using fascinating biological facts and live ambassador animals, Berkeley Boone and Katie Blaylock from the Georgia DNR’s Wildlife Resources Division will explore the remarkable adaptations and defining traits of birds of prey.

Hope to see you there!

Cheers,
David Tilson
President, Oconee Rivers Audubon Society
