Jim McCutchen - Senior Minister

Jim is a native of St Louis Missouri. His early childhood was spent growing up and finishing high school in the same city. Jim loved sports and says until he was a mean machine both playing baseball and wrestling for his Hancock High School. Jim went to the state championships in his junior year.  "I learned much about discipline in sports. It was a big help in teaching me about developing a genuine faithfulness to see things to the end as it relates to life and ministry."

The word passion describes Jim McCutchen’s  manner when it comes to preaching and his ministry. "I have a favorite slogan I quote often, 'Shoot for the stars, you may not make it but it will keep you out of the mud'.”  Anyone around Pastor knows he loves searching the Bible text and sharing his faith in  Jesus. 

Jim McCutchen loves sports.  Each year he works for one month with the St. Louis Cardinals in spring training in Jupiter, Florida.  Jim’s office is peppered with tons of books and seasoned with Cardinal memorabilia.

Jim says he has many favorite scriptures. One of his favorites is Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
 

His favorite food is spaghetti, and he loves to work out at LA. Fitness. Jim looks forward each year to attending the NACC.
 

Jim says he could never do what he is able to if it were not for his loving, and beautiful wife Kathee. Jim has two grown children and three precious grandchildren that he does not get to see near enough.
 

"My journey in life is to present the Grace of Truth in passion never tiring of telling the old old story of Jesus and His love."
