modifying spi-anim

I would like to create a custom config by modifying the spi-anim config slightly, lifting the midtones a bit (gamma up 1.15 and gain down 0.95). Could someone point me to how to do this? I am not a programmer type, and so the http://opencolorio.org/ page is a bit over my head. I'm hoping for more of a step-by-step for what is hopefully a relatively simple thing to do.
