LLSC Nats round and BBQ

Good evening folks,           

 

The weather forecast for the coming weekend is looking sub-optimal, meaning that our chances of getting two taskable days for the Nats round are less than hopeful.

 

The barbecue is booked and paid for, as is the camping space at Wiston lodge, and so we shall be going ahead with the barbecue as planned.

 

The weather on Saturday will allow us to do a ground handling clinic at Abingdon, so the plan is to meet there at 11am and muck about for a few hours. We can also do GPS training and familiarisation with the waypoints file we have, either at Abingdon or at the campsite.

 

I’ll be bringing a mini wing and other weird toys to pay with, and we’ll make the most of the time we have I’m sure.

 

The barbecue is booked for 20:00h on the Saturday night, we’ll have a big tipi with a fire pit, bring your own booze, etc.

We can try and run the Nats another weekend later in the year, if it's looking better then.
