The Sound Studio would make a perfect base for the radio station. I have looked at it and mentioned to staff that we want to consider that use. It is not the best of buildings but a great place to start. It has a large damped acoustic room and two separate isolation rooms (drums and vocals) and a separate control room. Small but workable. Gutted, no electronics left, However our use would be different than what it was designed for. It will work for broadcast and would also work for internet.

Sounds completely adequate and much better than the closets that most LPFM operate from. 

Keep in mind that I have all the equipment necessary to launch the station (less the transmitter), that I will gladly lend, for as long as wanted and or needed.

I think Staff has other intentions of what to do with the property. we
are going to have to do some work to get to use it.

I think I could arrange a tour during the elder's retreat weekend,
April 6th and 7th.
