Hello OCF-ers!

How has your week been? Hope that you are beginning to (if not already) love your subjects for this semester :P


On this coming Friday (9/8), apart from having Bible Study 2 with our small groups, we are blessed to have Aunty Merrilyn join us at corporate OCF to share a short message :) Details for this Friday's OCF:-

Venue: Evan Burge, Trinity College (located North of Union House, past Melb Uni's gym)
             *Look out for our friendly hospi teams around Union House if you get lost! They will be able to direct you to Evan Burge :)*

Come down to the Trinity College Drama Room at 6.15pm for our weekly Prayer Meet too if you can make it :)


Other Announcements:
1. National Prayer and Missions Month (NPMM)

NPMM is a month (12th Aug - 8th Sept) where we unite as OCF Australia to pray for one another, and to pray for specific centres and nations. **Attached with this email is a one-month long prayer booklet with a specific centre and nation to pray for each day as well as daily devotions.

So let us look outside of Melbourne Uni OCF - be concerned about our brothers and sisters across Australia and around the World - and lift them up in prayer


2. Captain's Ball/ Bake Sale

In order to raise funds for OCF Convy, there will be an inter-OCF Captain's Ball competition and a bake sale coming up in a couple weeks' time!

Date: 24th August 2013
Time: TBC
Venue: Princes Park, North Carlton
Participation fee (for Captain's Ball): $5 per person ($40 per team)


3. Testimonies
OCF is looking into making a compilation of your testimonies, with the purpose of sharing and proclaiming God's goodness in our lives :) If you have any testimonies that you would like to share, please feel free to email them to us at unimel...@ocfaustralia.org :)

If you wish to be anonymous, do not fret! A new email account has been set up for you! Just login to:

Using that account, write your testimonies and send them to MUOCF's email address as stated above :)


4. OCF Library

The OCF Library is officially open! We have managed to set up an online Library Catalogue for you guys to browse and see what books OCF has to lend out to you! To borrow a book, all you have to do is:

1. Go to http://www.librarything.com/catalog/wordyisthelamp/yourlibrary
2. Choose the book/s you want and note the title
3. Go to the ‘Currently reading’ list. Books listed in that section have been loaned out and are currently unavailable for borrowing.
4. If your book is available or if you want to make a reservation for a book currently on loan, send an email to wordyis...@hotmail.com with the following template:

c. Email:

d. Book to be borrowed:

e. Book to be reserved:

f. Date of Pick-Up (Only during OCF meetings):
5. Wait for our reply and pick up your book really soon!! However, if the book is unavailable, we will reply you to let you know when we would be able to loan it to you. 
6. Enjoy your book for 21 days. If you want to renew your book, just drop us another email and you can get your book for another 21 days!

Few things to note:
• You should be an OCF member to borrow the books but you can borrow books for your friends.
• Loss or damage of books will incur a fine  
• If you have books to donate or recommend, just drop us an email at this same address!
