Hi guys, swinburne will be having their orientation booth for ONE day only (25th feb monday)and they need as much help as they can get on that day to draw people's attention and make a presence on campus. We are hoping to get as many volunteers as possible to help out on that day for a few hours. I will be confirming the details of the event again soon. Do let me know if any of your members can come along and help out as well as meet new friends and catch up with old ones:)

Also, they will be holding an tour for new students to get to know the area around swinburne. This will be on a sat. I'll need to double check the details. They also welcome ocfers fRom other centers to join the tour as well as help mingle/take care of the new students. This can always be an unofficial road trip/day out for your center or cell. Again details will updated soon. 

Do let me know soon if anyone from your center is interested and available to help out on either (or both!) events.

The details of the two events:
 
International Orientation Day
 
- 25th Feb (Mon) 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-3pm
- This will be critical for us as it is the ONE day where all the new overseas students will be attending
- We will be setting up a booth amongst all the other clubs as well as hand out flyers
- Having a presence there will really help to attract people to our booth and being able to spread out to talk to people.
**There's really no limit to how many people can help. Also its not a "must" for those who want to help to come for the whole day - can come for 1 session or just a part of it.


Glenferrie / Swinburne Tour

- 2 March 10am-12pm
- We will be bringing the new students who have signed up during orientation day around Glenferrie and show their way around the common and hidden places
- End with a lunch together
- Hoping to get 20 sign ups and break up into groups of 4/5 with 1 "tour guide"
- Again, it's open to other OCFers to join and interact with the new students
 
 
--> The more pressing one for now would be the ORIENTATION DAY, so it would be awesome if everyone can start spreading the word and gather people to come. ASAP preferred:)

Swinburne OCF really needs our help. They are struggling with numbers. And we should try to help out as much as we can!
