Digital Repository Architect
Harvard University is looking for an experienced solutions architect to be responsible for the design of the University's digital preservation repository. The Digital Repository Architect will serve as the technology architecture lead for the Digital Repository Service (DRS) Modernization project across its discovery, planning, and implementation phases.
The DRS Modernization project is a multi-year effort to revitalize infrastructure and services preserving Harvard's digital scholarly resources and institutional records for future use by faculty, students, administrators, and staff, furthering the University's research, teaching, and learning mission and safeguarding its legacy. The project is an intense collaborative effort orchestrated across the Harvard Library, school libraries, and commercial vendors, and/or open-source development partners.
The Digital Repository Architect reports to the Digital Library Enterprise Architect in Library Technology Services, works closely with the Harvard Library Head of Digital Preservation, and is part of a team of analysts, change managers, and technologists assembled specifically for this project. The Digital Repository Architect leads a collaborative process, drawing on their own experience and expertise as well as that of the project team, the Digital Library Enterprise Architect, outside domain experts, library preservation leads, and stakeholders.

Senior Business Systems Analyst
Harvard University is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to be responsible for the capture, analysis, and documentation of user and system requirements to inform the design of Harvard University’s digital preservation repository (DRS).

The Senior BSA is a flexible, team-focused, organized person with a track record of successfully eliciting and communicating user and system requirements in a complex and demanding stakeholder environment. The Senior BSA reports to the Manager of Project and Portfolio Management in Library Technology Services and is part of a team of analysts, change managers, and technologists assembled specifically for the DRS Modernization project. On this project, the Senior BSA works closely with the Harvard Library Head of Digital Preservation, key stakeholders in Harvard Library and schools, and the effort’s project manager and digital repository architect. The person in this role is expected to quickly demonstrate a high degree of familiarity with digital preservation priorities and workflows.

Senior IT Project Manager
Harvard University is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to coordinate and facilitate the successful delivery of library technology projects that have major impacts on library operations at Harvard. We seek an experienced project manager who approaches their work with enthusiasm, prioritizes and values communication, and thrives in complex and active stakeholder environments.
The successful candidate is exceptionally well-organized, action-oriented, an excellent listener, and a thoughtful communicator with a record of demonstrated success communicating effectively across all levels of an organization from entry level staff to University executives, in both technical and nontechnical contexts. This role offers an opportunity to work with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Harvard Library as well as the broader academic research library community, including librarians, technologists, administrative leaders, faculty, and end users.
