Ifyour computer does not support a regular Windows 11 installation, it will likely boot with the Windows 11 PE version, as Windows PE versions have significantly lower hardware requirements. For instance, if your computer boots with the Windows 10 PE version, it is highly probable that it will also boot with the Windows 11 PE version.

Upon booting, the PE version attempts to install drivers for essential components such as graphics, sound, wireless and Ethernet cards for your hardware, facilitating connection to a WIFI or Ethernet network. If your WIFI or Ethernet card is not recognized by the PE version, kindly Contact Us with your hardware model. We will strive to incorporate the necessary drivers in upcoming releases.

I was able to make data tranfer over the network using minixp in hirenboot cd but the data trafner speed is slow witharound 15gb per hour . THis is very difficult considering the data around 200gb in the laptop.

I just gave a try two linux based distrubutions Trinity Resue kit and Ubunut desktop live cd 11.10 and found the data trafner over network even poor than minixp in hiren boot cd. It is just tranferring arond 4-5gb per hour.

Trying to create a Hiren's BootCD on a USB. Not needing anything else such as a dual boot of Ubuntu and Haren or Window's and Haren. All the programs that I can find to complete this either end up directing me on how to create a Ubuntu boot on a usb, or how to do it on Windows. But since it is my Windows computer that I'm trying to fix I need an alternative. Please Help?

After the USB is created, mount it in Nautilus (just click the USB drive icon), go into the HBCD folder, rename the isolinux.cfg file to syslinux.cfg and copy it to the root of the USB, overwriting the existing file. Change the first line of syslinux.cfg from DEFAULT /HBCD/Boot/menu.c32 to DEFAULT menu.c32.

None of the below methods will work.Although you will get a bootable USB, it doesn't chainload anything out of the Grub Menu. This is especially true for the 'revised' edition of Hiren's Boot CD (the one with the mini-version of Windows XP)

Insert your USB drive into your PC and start Ubuntu's partition Manager. Format the drive to FAT32, primairy partition and give a nice label. While you are at it, note the device's mount location (for example /dev/sdb)

Now place the Hirens Boot CD iso-file in a new folder.Right-click the file and choose 'extract here'When it is done, delete the iso file and copy all the rest of the content to the root your USB drive.

There should be 1 folder called HBCD on the drive now, and 4 small other files. Now open the folder called HBCD and copy the files 'grldr' and 'menu.lst' to the root of the drive. Be sure to copy them, do not cut.

get hiren's Iso into your HDD. insert your USB pendrive or whatever, download rufus and proceed with burning the hiren.ISO file into the USB.once you succeeded, you need to restart your pc and check that your BIOS is configured in such a way that your boot order has your harddrive as the last thing to boot from. Also make sure, that as you reboot your pc again, and you have your USB burned and plugged, you dont have anything else that your pc might boot from.Hope it helps (btw, i just did this 30 minutes ago...) Cheers!

Saving a normal Linux user from even needing any external medium.(Though loopbacks can boot isos from other partitions/media too, if you are willing to not use grml-rescueboot and do the GRUB2 config manually.)

I don't know a whole lot about it, but I did find it listed on Tom's Guide. I don't know what tools it contains and I may be remembering wrong, but I seem to recall it possibly including some software without permission, though that was some time ago and things may have changed since then (or I could be thinking of a different boot tool).

I was looking for such boot tool because most of our oldest external hard drives are suddenly errors out after I update my windows from version 1903 to 1909 and then to plugged the CAMERA to my laptop for the first time .. that happened and while Malwarebytes and windows security both are running but we are still not able to find out the others causes .

I had the OS reinstalled already but however I Have stupidly to do wiped off the flash drive which was has the windows 10 version 1903 and I make a new files for Windows 1909 and the other problem that there are no any drivers for my windows 10 version 1909 so we do not know for sure if this is one of the other causes or not but we are still trying to figuring out !

I'm pretty sure you can use the Windows 10 media creation tool from here to create a USB to install the original version of Windows 10 with. It shouldn't include the 1909 update. Another option would be to contact your system manufacturer for recovery media.

Most systems will work with 1909 even though there are no driver updates made for Windows 10 in general. (from experience) 1909 is not really different from 1903 hence the small enablement package that moved it from 1903 to 1909.

Ah, I seemed to recall driver compatibility was one of the main reason MS wasn't rolling out the latest update to all systems at one point. I guess they've since resolved it. I recall that for a long time Windows Update refused to download/install the latest build on my system due to incompatible hardware, though they did eventually allow me to install it.

@Hardhead just did a full wipe and all partition removal and installed the latest Windows 10 on a very old computer. Did not install any MFG drivers and Windows 10 included all drivers needed for his hardware. He had a Lexmark printer on the network that auto added the drivers when he scanned to add a printer.

As for Hirens, that is illegal. Please do not discuss downloads or links, etc. as that is against forum policy. There are plenty of sites and resources on the Web where you can get further information.

an update : I forget to mentioned that the OS has the drive is a MBR with windows 1903 . then I had to wipe out all partitions and after this I use the Media creation tool for windows 1909 with the recommended option to make a GPT for the laptop drive , And then I change the BIOS to UEFI to fix a problem here

so SHOULD I reverting back to old version of the WINDOWS 10 ? and why the partition software shows an unknown partition of a newly WINDOWS OS reinstalled ? may be there is other reasons of the problem caused by something else ?

also our newest external has no any problems which they a GPT support I think . but the oldest ones are a MBR support so not sure if the external hard drive were errors out because of changes made to both BIOS and the type of the partitions for the disk of the laptop .

any recommendation for Manufacture that supplying a good External hard disk products for uses and a few for a backup for future uses/ flash drive as a backup for future uses/external hard drive cover/case only/ and Enclosure external hard disk cable for buying and probably for a replacement ?

try booting xp mode and use one of the tools in the giant menu of stuff, or see if there is a newer version of hirens. I don't want to tell you to mess with the BIOS settings or start pulling parts out of it.

I have some software that will not run in Win7 even with the compatibility feature. It will only run in WinXP. But it is only one piece of software so I don't want to completely go back to WinXP. I have created a boot USB using Hiren's software that allows me to boot into WinXP mini. But when I try to install my software it can't find anything in the CD drive. It can find the drive but just keeps asking me to load a disc. So I placed everything from the CD I need to install onto the usb that is booting WinXP and try to run the software. It starts to install but then says the operating system is incorrect.

Your reply does not answer the question I posed, because by "where are all these utilities?" I meant "where inside the HBCD15.2 which I downloaded from the hiren official site", not "where on the internet".

I already knew what you linked. Maybe you are right in saying that "perhaps they only put the most used ones on disc but make the others available for download". I did guess so. But they have claimed that "All in one Bootable CD which has all these utilities". Maybe it is not true! Anyway....

I don't think Hirens is really meant for that sort of use i.e. running the tools as standalone, sure you can do it for some but the idea is you download it and burn/copy it to a bootable CD or USB. You then boot your computer using Hirens instead of the OS on your hard drive, where you are given a menu (essentially a boot menu for multiple OS's) where you can make selections on what to run.

It's like a live CD with a choice of environments to start up into and depending on what you choose you can then run some of the utilities (but only the ones pertaining to the environment you selected). The difference here between a normal live CD and this is that Hirens is designed to be able to access the HDD with your regular OS on it for maintenance/troubleshooting etc, it's not really designed as a checkout this OS type thing like a live CD is.
