Job Title: Lead Software Engineer – Security & Integrations (Cryptography & Cloud)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in applied security practices, cryptography, and cloud integrations. The ideal candidate will act as both an individual contributor and a delegator to an outsourced full-stack development team. You will play a critical role in building next-generation automated cryptographic-security tooling, designing scalable backend services, and ensuring security and compliance across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, architect, and implement backend services and integrations operating across cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
· Develop production-grade code for security- and compliance-sensitive environments.
· Collaborate with the founding team to influence core system architecture and strategic design decisions.
· Design and implement a scalable cryptographic asset discovery and inventory engine.
· Build primarily agentless discovery workflows, with optional agent-based modules.
· Integrate with cloud providers and enterprise platforms, including:
o Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP
o CMDBs: ServiceNow
o Security tools: Tanium, Tenable, CrowdStrike
· Develop backend services and APIs for cryptographic analysis, telemetry, and lifecycle workflows.
· Contribute to AI-driven risk scoring and prioritization models.
· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
· Support certificate, key, and protocol lifecycle visibility and management across distributed systems.
Required Qualifications:
· Proven experience in software engineering with a strong focus on security, cryptography, and cloud integrations.
· Deep understanding of cryptographic systems, security tooling, and compliance requirements.
· Hands-on experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment in cloud environments.
· Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and manage outsourced development teams.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality production code.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience contributing to AI-driven risk scoring models.
· Exposure to security asset discovery engines and enterprise integrations.
· Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and hybrid architectures.
