Job Description

The Citrix Administrator will manage and support Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to provide secure, reliable virtual desktops. The role includes maintaining Windows Servers, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security and compliance. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver a smooth end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Citrix DaaS / CVAD and Azure Virtual Desktop environments
• Maintain and secure Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP
• Configure and manage FSLogix profiles, Citrix policies, gateways, and images
• Apply networking and security controls (firewalls, ACLs, NSGs)
• Automate tasks using PowerShell
• Monitor performance and resolve issues using Citrix and Azure tools
• Follow security, change management, and compliance standards
• Document procedures and support users as needed

Required Experience

• 7+ years administering Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops or Azure Virtual Desktop
• 7+ years of Windows Server administration
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Experience with PowerShell automation
• Proven troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure security and public-sector security standards
• Citrix or Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus
