Salesforce /Ncino - Technical Project Manager

Columbia, SC

12+ Months Contract

 

Job Description:

Program Leadership & Delivery:

• Lead and manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for mission-critical programs, from concept and design through deployment and operational readiness, often following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Define program scope, objectives, success metrics, and comprehensive execution plans (e.g., roadmaps, timelines, resource allocation).
• Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex risks and dependencies across multiple teams and organizational boundaries.

 

Technical & Platform Expertise:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the technical capabilities and limitations of the nCino platform and Salesforce ecosystem (including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the underlying platform).
• Evaluate the technical feasibility of business ideas and translate high-level business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for development teams.
• Drive discussions on technical design, architecture, integration strategies, and long-term scalability of the nCino/Salesforce solution.

 

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

• Act as the central point of contact and trusted advisor for business stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Facilitate executive-level meetings, steering committees, and status reviews, providing crisp, regular updates on program health, risks, and critical decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering Leads to align roadmaps, prioritize work, and negotiate technical trade-offs.

 

Operational Excellence:

• Champion best practices in software delivery, quality assurance, and change management.
• Drive continuous improvement by owning and optimizing processes, tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and communication channels.

 

Experience & Certifications:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, or a related role in a large-scale, enterprise environment.
• Deep and recent experience with the nCino Bank Operating System (Commercial/Retail Loan Origination, Account Opening, etc.).
• Expertise in the Salesforce platform, including a solid understanding of its core functionalities, declarative features, and development aspects (Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Integrations).
• Proven track record managing projects or programs in the banking, financial services, or fintech industry.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
