The client is looking for a Senior Veeva Vault CRM Architect with 10+ years of experience who can lead the migration from Salesforce-based Veeva CRM to Veeva Vault CRM. The candidate must have strong expertise in Veeva Vault Platform, Veeva CRM, Salesforce Sales Cloud, integration architecture, REST APIs, data migration, and enterprise system integrations. They should have experience designing scalable solutions using Vault REST API, Spark Messaging, Iceberg/Data Lake architecture, and working with AI/Data platforms. Strong knowledge of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, architecture governance, multi-vendor coordination, and the ability to define technical standards, review designs, and lead end-to-end solution architecture is essential.

Role Descriptions:
The Vault CRM Architect owns the end-to-end target-state integration and platform architecture for a major pharmaceutical client's migration from the Salesforce-based Veeva CRM to the native Veeva Vault CRM platform.
The
role defines how the integration estate, custom applications, and downstream
AI/data consumers are re-architected onto Vault-native patterns — Vault REST
API, Direct Data API, Spark Messaging, and Apache Iceberg — across a multi-org,
multi-geography landscape.
This is the senior technical authority for the engagement.
The
Architect sets design standards, governs the design-authority forum, aligns
integration designs with the platform vendor's sign-off gate, and ensures the
target architecture is validated, observable, and future-proofed for the
client's downstream AI and agentic platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Target-State Architecture & Design Authority
• Own the end-to-end integration and data-flow architecture for the Vault CRM
target state, translating the legacy Veeva CRM landscape into Vault-native
patterns (Vault REST API, Direct Data API, Spark Messaging, Iceberg,
vendor-native connectors).
• Chair the integration design-authority forum — set design standards, run the
review cadence, and align every design with the platform vendor's integration
sign-off gate before build begins.
2. Integration Pattern & Tiering Strategy
• Define the complexity-tier model and pattern mapping (ETL, Iceberg, Spark
Messaging, Spark with ETL, marketing-cloud automation) used to size, sequence,
and estimate the integration portfolio.
• Validate and re-baseline the integration inventory during discovery,
confirming directionality, orchestration, error handling, and middleware for
each integration.
3. Data Model & Migration Strategy
• Govern consumption of the platform vendor's authoritative source-to-target
object/field mapping and design the downstream-consumer remediation strategy to
contain object-rename and schema-change regression risk.
• Define the migration architecture for in-scope custom applications — rebuild,
refactor, replace, or retire — for components not moving natively to the Vault
platform.
4. AI / Data Platform & Futureproofing
• Architect Iceberg Lakehouse connections that expose validated Vault CRM data
to the client's internal AI platforms and designated LLM data sources, in
partnership with the client's data teams.
• Establish MCP / A2A-ready integration patterns so Vault CRM data can be
safely surfaced to AI agents without future re-architecture.
5. Observability & Non-Functional Architecture
• Design the platform observability framework on the client's enterprise
monitoring platform — monitoring of critical usage and security thresholds
across Vault CRM and the integration toolset, plus a scaling playbook for the
client to extend post-implementation.
• Set non-functional standards for scalability, API rate-limit handling,
high-volume refresh loads, error handling, and rollback across all
environments.
6. Compliance, Governance & Multi-Vendor Alignment
• Ensure all designs meet GxP / 21 CFR Part 11 and the client's validation
standards, with requirements traceability from design through test evidence.
• Operate within the multi-vendor model — joint design forums and
conflict-resolution paths across the platform vendor, partner SIs, and the
client — and provide architectural input to Go/No-Go decisions.

The client is looking for a Senior Veeva Vault CRM Integration Lead with 10+ years of experience who can lead the end-to-end integration delivery for a Veeva CRM to Veeva Vault CRM migration in a pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Platform, Veeva CRM, enterprise application integrations, AWS/Data Analytics, and Databricks, along with expertise in managing integration design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare. They should be capable of coordinating across multiple vendors, upstream/downstream enterprise systems, and driving system integration testing (SIT), validation, environment readiness, and Go/No-Go decisions. Experience in GxP/CSV validation, defect management, production support, and delivering large-scale migration projects is highly preferred.

Role Descriptions:
The Vault CRM Integration Lead owns delivery of the integration workstream end-to-end for a major pharmaceutical client's Veeva CRM to Vault CRM migration — accountable for the full integration estate from discovery through design, build, system integration testing, UAT support, validation, and hypercare across a multi-org, multi-geography landscape.
The role is the integration delivery owner and primary coordination point across the platform vendor, partner SIs, the client's data teams, and upstream/downstream enterprise system owners.
The Integration Lead governs the tiering model that drives the estimate and true-up, manages cross-team test sequencing and defect triage, and ensures the integration estate is delivered on time, validated, and observable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration Delivery Ownership
• Own the integration delivery lifecycle across all in-scope integrations — assessment, design, development, deployment, testing, and hypercare — ensuring each is remediated and operational in Vault with no disruption to ongoing business operations.
• Confirm and re-baseline the final in-scope inventory and change types coming out of the discovery phase, including any new integrations introduced during the program.
2. Tiering, Estimation & True-Up Governance
• Govern the Tier × Pattern model — applying tier criteria and per-integration counts that drive the integration-rebuild estimate and per-integration test sizing.
• Operate the post-discovery true-up mechanism, intercepting in-flight legacy changes and re-baselining counts at the agreed cadence.
3. Cross-System & Multi-Vendor Coordination
• Secure SME availability and sequence test windows around the release cadences of upstream/downstream enterprise systems (ERP, HR, MDM, marketing cloud, monitoring); manage cross-team defect triage and escalate when an external team blocks integration testing.
• Align integration design sign-off with the platform vendor's gate and operate joint design forums and conflict-resolution paths with the vendor, partner SIs, and the client.
4. Wave Sequencing & Environment Readiness
• Drive integration sequencing across the multi-org wave plan, coordinating environment readiness, test-data provisioning, and code promotion for each wave.
• Manage dependencies on vendor-owned components (e.g., Vault Java SDK, core metadata/data migration tooling) so build is not blocked.
5. Testing, Validation & Go/No-Go
• Own end-to-end system integration test planning and execution across environments — test scripts, data, execution evidence, defect management, retesting — ensuring upstream and downstream systems are engaged.
• Deliver CSV/validation artifacts to the client's standards with full requirements-to-evidence traceability and provide Go/No-Go input per wave based on defects and readiness criteria.
6. Observability, Hypercare & Transition
• Deliver the observability connections and monitoring for the integration estate, and lead integration hypercare against P1/P2 SLAs with a defined war-room and triage cadence.
• Execute transition to steady state — runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge transfer to client Tier 1 / Tier 2 — with formal handover acceptance.
