Job Summary:
The worker will perform advanced business analysis and systems analysis activities to support software solution implementation projects. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting detailed business and technical requirements, creating business process maps and system models, writing and grooming user stories, and supporting all phases of testing. The role involves close collaboration with IT Project Managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure solution alignment and traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Skills & Qualifications:
4–7 years of experience in:
Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation (BRD/SRS)
Business process mapping and fit-gap analysis
Problem-solving and software troubleshooting
Facilitating cross-functional workshops and remote sessions
Developing and executing test plans and test cases
Implementing and testing system interfaces with legacy systems
Using SDLC management tools (HP ALM, Atlassian, etc.)
Supporting project management lifecycle activities
2 years of experience with:
State of Texas IT systems
Unemployment Insurance (UI) systems and State Information Data Exchange Systems (SIDES)
