Job Type: Long Term Project

 

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Disaster Recovery (DR) Business Process Analyst / AI-Enhanced DR Specialist to join our team. The candidate will play a critical role in mapping current business processes related to disaster recovery and application management, collaborating directly with application owners to ensure comprehensive coverage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders to develop a detailed business process map that connects all critical systems and workflows.
  • Evaluate the existing Disaster Recovery (DR) plan, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and propose an enhanced DR strategy by integrating AI technologies to automate and optimize recovery processes.
  • Support a multi-year transformation initiative aimed at strengthening organizational resilience.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate progress and recommendations effectively to senior management and technical teams.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business process mapping, preferably within IT disaster recovery or business continuity contexts.
  • Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery planning, execution, and testing.
  • Familiarity with AI applications in IT operations and DR automation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining overlapping hours with US CST business time zones.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and ability to manage long-term projects.


Preferred:

  • Experience with cloud disaster recovery solutions and tools.
  • Background in IT risk management or cybersecurity.
