We're meeting tonight, 7:00pm @ Smart-Soft.
Android, new devices and Android apps and alternative devices are our
current persistent topics. If you want to learn how to develop for
Android, you need help getting started or have a specific issue you
want help with, then this is the place to be. Where else can you lay
out your problems and get help that doesn't cost the going rate of a
Psychiatrist?
o I'm expecting those new Nexus One owners I know of to show up and
demo their stuff, or show up and lay out their problems.
o We're still trying to define a community project to give us a little
more on which to focus.
o We'll demo the Bluetooth app for the Kestrel 4200 again and describe
how to do RFComm with Android 2.0+ (
http://www.nkhome.com/kestrel/kestrel-BLUETOOTH)
o We'll also discuss those pesky layout issues for getting your labels
and fields to line up.
Pizza:
We serve pizza at our meetings -- the nutrition of hackers world wide.
Were switching over to Costco and they only do cheese, pepperoni, or
everything. So, we're also switching to 1/2 cheese & 1/2
pepperoni. And we've even got a supply of small red pepper packets.
Please RSVP so I know how much pizza to bring. If you indicate you're
going to attend then please show up.

If you're new or just coming to check out a meeting let us know in
advance specifically what you are interested in, depending on what
we're working on we may not have all our gadgets, toys and hardware
with us.
