Viewsonic gTablet being pulled from Staples Shelves

Last week I reported that I got one of these on sale at Sears and mod'ed
it with a custom ROM. This week it's being pulled from Staples shelves
for a mysterious and unspecified "manufacturing defect". What I find
interesting is that it's not being recalled by Viewsonic.
